This year for Valentines day, I did something a little different. To honor Congenital Heart Disease week and to help a friend who was pregnant with a heart warrior, 100% of the proceeds from my Valentines sessions went towards my friend Brandy’s Go fund me. I am SO VERY PLEASED to share that donations totaled $1,195. I am so thankful to everyone who booked a session and donated to Brandy and her little one Brendan. He was actually born the first day we did sessions! For updates, or if you would like to donate, here is the link to her go fund me: https://gofund.me/2f067c37 Read to the end of this post for an update on Baby Brendan, including pictures!!
I had so much fun seeing so many past clients and even some new ones! I had big kids and little ones and everyone did so well! Here are a few of my faves!
We also had some best friends get a few pics together! They scheduled their sessions back to back so we were able to get some just Silas, and just sisters Cambridge and Kinsley as well as some of best friends Silas and Cambridge!
I had so many past clients come back, These babies also visited me for their newborn portraits!
One of the new little ones to come get pictures has photographer parents, you heard me parentS! Mom and Dad both being photographers meant I was feeling double the pressure to produce amazing images, but their sweet princess Kendall did AMAZING! She was such a doll.
These next girls were so stinking cute, I could barely handle it!
In conclusion, I had a blast with a bunch of different families and captured some cute kiddos.
I also wanted to include an update on baby Brendan. He was born 2/10 weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces, and 18.5 inches long! An update from his mom: “Cardiology finally made it by this evening to talk with us. Basically as soon as a room down in CICU opens up they will be moving Brendan down there to them. As for now he is being taken care of in the NICU. He is on room air and only getting 2 liters off of the vapotherm to help with his oxygen. Cardiologist wants to keep his oxygen saturation above 75%. Our echocardiogram since being earthside did not answer any of the questions we have regarding Brendan's heart and now we are looking at taking him for a CT or cath to figure out exactly what it is we are dealing with. What we do know now is that Brendan's tricuspid atresia is called functional tricuspid atresia. The valve is there but so tiny that the amount of blood flowing through it doesn't amount to anything. We still have pulmonary atresia..that valve is not there.” Remember if you want to donate and help this sweet family, you can go here: https://gofund.me/2f067c37
